More info:We all know that when he is not at the North Pole, Santa Claus spends summer time in warmer places. The York-Durham Heritage Railway has persuaded him to take a break from his summer vacation and visit the train on Sunday August 15th. Santa will land on the train roof and visit each child to find out if they have been naughty or nice, and naturally take orders for this year´s presents. Children will be able to visit Santa during the journey. The trains depart Uxbridge Station at 10:00 a.m. and 2.30 pm. or Stouffville GO Station at Noon for a ride with Santa. There are plenty of seats for everyone, no reservations are required. In addition to Santa our regular face painters and balloon clowns plus wandering minstrels will be on board. Don´t forget the free horse wagon ride in Uxbridge.
