The Oshawa Museum is once again paying tribute to an old tradition of the Henry family. Celebrate this year’s Picnic with sack races and a pioneer chore relay, making ice cream learning Victorian handicrafts like cross-stitch and embroidery. The Oshawa Public Library will also be on hand with stories and the Museum will have a quiet colouring corner. The picnic will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 12-4 pm in the Henry family’s ancestral gardens. The cost is $5 per person and free for Oshawa Historical Society members.
